2. How was it made?

 

3. The place where a piece of stone has broken away when hit is called a ‘stress mark’.  Can you spin the image and count how many stress marks are on this side?

1. What Stone Age period is this from?

 

ANSWER: Paleolithic.

 

2. How was it made?

 

ANSWER: By hitting the edges with another stone until it was sharp.

 

3. The place where a piece of stone has broken away when hit is called a ‘stress mark’.  Can you spin the image and count how many stress marks are on this side?

 

ANSWER: This is difficult but if you have got between 20 and 30 as your answer then you’re right!
